The Miracle Workers - Inside Out

Clássico absoluto, um dos melhores registros disso que carinhosamente chamam de garage revival. Formado em 1982, os Miracle Workers tinham um som na linha dos Chesterfield Kings e dos Lyres, mas se destacavam da grande maioria das bandas pelas canções originais, ao invés de discos cheios de covers e mais covers que todo mundo fazia (Louie Louie? Be a Caveman? oi?). Lançaram 2 eps e esse LP, mas mudanças no som da banda foram ocorrendo, primeiro pra um som mais Stooges / MC5 / afins, posteriormente, pra hair metal farofento (infelizmente).

Absolute classic, one of the best registers of that thing people lovingly call garage reviva. Formed in 1982, the Miracle Workers had a sound similar to the Chesterfield Kings and the Lyres, but had an advantage compared to other bands, most of thr material was composed by original songs, instead of covers that everyone else was doing (Louie Louie? Be a Caveman? Hello?). They released 2 eps and this LP, but sonority changes ocurred, first to a proto punk inspired sound, then, to a lame hair metal stuff (sadly).
